Review Of Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer

Review Of Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturiser

Hi Angels, hope you are doing amazing!!!!
Alas!!! I got my hands on the Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturiser. A lot of you guys have been raving about this product that it made me kind of paranoid to get this product in my skincare routine. For all of you who don't know about the brand Plum is India's first online-only beauty brand. First beauty brand in India that's 100% vegan. And TOTALLY free of Parabens, Phthalates, Propylene Glycol, SLS, DEA & PABA. Plum does not test its products on animals. Isn't that wonderful? So much goodness.
Coming back to the product, this beauty came to from Nykaa recently and I was excited to try it immediately. To be very honest applying moisturizer gives a hard time as I tend to sweat the maximum on my face. Even if the moisturizer is oil free or water gel based like the Lorealhydrafresh one it just somehow does not work for me. And even after knowing the importance of applying a moisturizer I sometimes tend to skip it. I don't have acne prone skin but what I do have is oily skin type.

What the product claims-
Silicone-free, matte-finish moisturizer with hand-picked non-comedogenic ingredients including green tea extracts. Daily pleasant after-feel, non-shiny finish and acne combat. A multi-dimensional care that includes: controlled hydration, non-shiny matte finish, acne (pimples) combat and a fresh, clear appearance.

My Experience with Plum Green Tea Mattifying Moisturiser-
I'll be honest with you guys that I have recently incorporated this product into my skincare routine. It has semi-runny texture, white in color with all goodness of green tea fragrance. The cream blends so wonderfully and merges within the skin. Also, it does not leave any shine but at the same time moisturizes the face quite well without leaving any dry patches. It is priced at Rs450 for 50ml of the product but I got mine from Nykaa at a discounted price. Guys you just literally need a pea size amount for entire face and neck. The catch for the about this product was it said mattifying so I really want to try it as to how it mattifies your skin. I have been using this product from few days almost like every day and to my surprise, my face does not become oily frequently like before I don't have to use blotting tissue every now and then. Plus, it comes in a bottle with a pump and it very convenient and hygienic at the same to use.

Let's talk about the PROS & CONS
PROS-
·       Light, matte finish moisturizer
·       100% silicone-free
·       Glycolic acid helps keep skin clear
·       Can also be used as night cream
·       Convenient, spill-proof pump pack
·       Contains Green Tea extracts which combat acne
·       Within the budget for a good 50ml product with convenient spill proof packaging
CONS-
Can't really think of any at the moment just one that is it does not do anything to mattify the face. That's it I guess.
Trust me guys it a life saver for all you beauties out there who struggle with oily or acne prone skin. If you are looking for a daily moisturizer which can hydrate your face and at the same times controls oil production then I would suggest going for it. It won't do any harm of breakouts on your skin as it is completely organic.
