Today I wanted to share with you all my favourite makeup technique of all time... Yes yes it is none other than BAKING!!!!
So, what exactly is BAKING????
The term BAKING, which has been used in the makeup community for years, refers to letting translucent powder sit on your face for 5-10 minutes, which allows the heat from your face to set your base foundation and concealer, and then dusting it off your face, leaving you with a creaseless, flawless finish.
Why is it my favourite Technique :
Simply because it sets the foundation and concealer in one place leaving you with flawless skin. And since I sweat a lot it's a life saver for me. I just love the shine and texture it leaves behind once the powder is dusted.It highlights your areas like no one business.
What Products to use AND How to use:
Any translucent powder would do or even baby powder would work great. Personally, I use baby powder with a damp beauty sponge. It works best with a beauty sponge, just damp the sponge a little and take the amount required, apply it under the eyes after you've applied your
concealer and compact and leave it on for 5-10mins. Afte that just take a powder brush and dust off the powder and you'll be left with perfectly smooth textured creaseless skin.
How To Use:
Hydrate your eye area
Apply a thick concealer under your eyes.
Coat on more concealer
 Dust on translucent powder with a powder brush.
Now, "bake" or "cook" your makeup . Use a beauty sponge and dampen it with a setting spray. Then, dip sponge into the translucent powder you used in step 4 to pack the loose powder generously over the area where you applied the concealer. Leave the powder on for 5-10mins
Dust it off with a powder brush.
